After six months our partner artisans in India are finally able to get back to work. 2020 has been an incredibly difficult year and we couldn't be happier that these beautiful women are able to begin earning income again. All proceeds from the sale of these throws will be used to purchase additional products. With each sale we can begin helping them to recover from the devastating affects of the pandemic and the ongoing extreme poverty they face. Multiple layers of amazingly soft, reclaimed sari fabric, hand stitched with a traditional kantha stitch, make this one of a kind throw a special treat. Longer and more narrow than traditional throw blankets, perfect for covering neck to toes on cool evenings or wrapping around your shoulders. Handcrafted by women in the Astral Cooperative in Bawali Village, West Bengal, India. Measures 35"x76" 100% cotton, Machine washable. One side of this throw is ocean blue with a triangle print and a large white medallion. The other side has a small print and stripes pattern with a wide blue and salmon border.
