This is Sophea, she is shopping for a new sewing machine in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia and it was a gift from YOU....
After she made her choice, they loaded everything into a tuktuk, the main mode of transportation in Phnom Pehn, and headed home. The members of her small sewing cooperative were excitedly waiting.
Every time you shop at Buy The Change, 10% of your purchase is donated to our Grassroots Grants Program through the Buy The Change Foundation.

Once a year in the fall we ask our artisan partners around the world what they need to help them be successful in leaving extreme poverty behind.

Some, like Sophea, need new equipment, some need improvements to their homes, which also serve as workshops, some need help accessing clean water because the dirty water makes their children sick, some need help with tuition so their children can continue in school.

Because of you, we can say YES!

We use 100% of our profits to buy more of the handmade products they make using the equipment you helped buy.

This is what our cycle of socially conscious business building, and trade over aid, looks like.

Thanks to you...

Your commitment to being conscious of where you shop is changing the lives of women around the world.

We love the saying "It mattered to this one" because together, we are changing lives one at a time, by selling one blanket, bag and piece of jewelry at a time.
Sophea and her cooperative sew our customer favorite Elephant Bags. Until now they shared one sewing machine.
You don't have to buy the bags Sophea makes to help change her life. All of our artisan partners are eligible to apply for grants.

Any and every purchase makes a difference. Shop today and help make 2016 our most world changing year yet.
